Statement Analysis® is the most accurate way of determining if a person is being truthful. This is because people's words will betray them. This training will show you what to look for in a verbal and written statement in order to detect deception.

These techniques can be used in a variety of situations:

  • Interviewing a suspect
  • Examining a witness
  • Counseling a client
  • Interviewing an applicant
  • Reading an article
  • Watching an interview on television

This training is designed as a self-guided course so you can proceed at your own pace. It contains the same information Mark shares in his two days of classroom training. You will have four months (120 days) to complete the training. This training comes with a 56-page workbook that is located online.

At the end of most lessons, there is a short quiz you will have to take. This will help you to review the techniques taught in the lesson.

There are also eleven test statements for you to analyze. You can compare your analysis with a completed analysis. This will allow you to see how well you are grasping the techniques. For the final test statement, you will submit to me your analysis using an online form. I will review your analysis and provide you with some feedback.

Upon completing the training, you will be able to download and print a Certificate of Completion which will state you have completed 12 hours of training..

All of my training and studies have been in the United States. Therefore, this training is based on the English language as spoken in the United States. Cultural differences and phrases used in other English speaking countries may have to be taken into consideration when analyzing a statement from someone outside the U.S. The majority of the techniques will apply no matter what language a person is speaking.
